Shamanism

A shaman (also called medicine man/women, witch doctor, high priest, wizard, magician etc.) is someone who can harness the powers of the universe for the benefit of others. He/she knows to navigate in the sea of universal consciousness and perceive a world of total aliveness. Together with the Creator's creation a shaman can Ayahuasca Visionempower the spiritual seeker to access Universal Truth, Wisdom and Higher Consciousness and achieve holistic healing on Body, Mind and Spirit.

Shamans work and communicate with all living things, such as with “ Pachamama” (Mother Earth), “Inti”, the sun, “Mama Quilla”, the moon, the seven directions, the five elements, the stars, the ancestors, spirit guides, with the Apu (sacred mountains), with the plant- animal- and mineral-kingdoms, etc.

A Peruvian shaman's tools for cleansing and healing include the Master Teachers Ayahuasca, San Pedro and other medicinal plants, “ikaros” (sacred songs and sounds), musical instruments, tobacco, Agua de Florida (incense), sucking an affected area on the physical, emotional or spiritual body (extractions), the sacred Coca leaf, feathers, flowers, “Illas” (sacred rocks and stones), crystals, other natural elements, “Despacho” (offerings to Mother Earth), invocations and prayers.
